Bought the car in Calf. as a basket case. It sat in Hollywood for many years without a top. In 1980 I bought the car along with floor pans and a trunk bottom. I trucked the car home to Alb., got it running, drove it for about a week then decieded this is not what I want. So I took the car completly apart and by 1985 I had it back together again. I did all of the work myself except for the body and paint. I did change a couple of items. I put a 1965 transmission in the car, changed the heater motor with a propeller on it to a modern cooling fan, changed the generator to a 1967 chevy alternator with neg ground, and installed a electronic ignition. I still have all the original stuff but who would want it.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
