Advertised for sale 12 April 2024 asking $329,950 AUD. Car is in Adelaide, South Australia. Selling dealer’s description (summarised) follows:
Early 1962 flat floor roadster. Looks and drives perfectly. Matching numbers car supported by a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate. Built 1st January 1962 and delivered new via Jaguar Cars of New York to an unknown destination in the USA. Australian Import Approval dated the 23th of May 1997, and documents approving its current South Australian Historic registration in May 1997.
Subject of a RHD conversion and rotisserie restoration with documents from automotive engineers in Adelaide, Tonkin Consulting, regarding the conversion. Also held is the original ID plate which supports all the current numbers. Ownership is documented back to the 1970s.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
