A matching numbers flat floor car built to European specification with metric instrumentation and 8:1 compression ratio. Delivered new to Belgium it remained in the same family ownership until 1981 when it was then purchased by a Belgian cartoonist. He commissioned Pheonix Restorations to undertake a full nut and bolt restoration that took almost three years to complete and included re-trimming the interior. In 1991 it was sold to its third owner who kept the car dry stored and meticulously maintained at his house in the South of France.

Sold by Albion Motor Cars of Temse in May 2015 it is described as stunning and hard to believe that it was restored over thirty years ago. The engine is very smooth and the original Moss gearbox works well, the suspension and brakes are like those on a new car. The bodywork has been well restored and the shut lines are perfect. The interior has just the right amount of patina with the hood and cover looking like new. The history file includes the fully documented restoration and the heritage certificate.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
