We are always pleased to offer thoroughbred British sportscars and none more so than the 'E' Type Jaguar. At the moment there seems to be a slight shortage of good models and this early, 1962, 3.8 coupe is definitely one of those.
The whole car was totally rebuilt about ten years ago and was used for the first three years after that and then put into secure and heated storage and the odometer is only showing 2379 miles since the rebuild which is completely accurate and correct - that works out at about 230 miles a year. The whole car is now described as being in very good condition throughout and the bodywork is painted in Red with the interior trim being finished in Black which was completely renewed during the restoration. It comes with a Black sunroof and it has the 3800cc six cylinder engine and the manual four speed gearbox.
The car is being sold with a current V5 registration document, a current M.O.T. until February next year and of course the valuable cherished registration number - 9176 AP is included in the sale. A rare opportunity to acquire a genuine right hand drive example of this much prized British sportscar.
