On sale for £50k at E-Type UK July 2009:
"A very original 1962 Jaguar Series 1, 3.8 E type. A genuine UK matching numbers car that still carries its original registration number. Finished in Sherwood Green with Suede Green leather
The car was subject to a sympathetic restoration in the nineties which retained many original features unique to the early E types. There is a good history file which includes the original Buff Log Book, Green Log Book plus many MOTs dating back to 1971."

Presented in its original colour scheme of opalescent dark green with suede green leather.
A UK supplied RHD example.
Purchased by the most recent owner from highly regarded specialist E-Typr UK in 2010. The car was supplied with a few of their sensible upgrades including Coopercraft brakes, upgraded radiator and electric cooling fan, steel wire wheels with Pirelli 205/ 70 15 tyres, and a full synchro gearbox.
The car has recently had a high quality repaint in the original factory colour of opalescent dark green. The car was rebuilt with various new seals etc. and the results are stunning. Needless the say the bodywork now presents free of stone chips, marks or scratches.
A desireable 3. 8 series 1 FHC is a superb colour with some nice upgrades and improvements by the aforementioned E-Type UK.
