This is my second E type restoration. First as a 20 year old with a 65 DHC in the early 1980\\\'s and again recently with a full restoration on 2R28774 from 2015-17. My, has the support network changed in those 35 years!

    Car offered at:
    detroit.craigslist.org/car/624378661.html

    Sellers description:
1971 Jaguar E-Type for sale. I've owned this Jag for about 15 years, but I haven't had the time to finish it. The car has been completely disassembled and many necessary parts to complete the restoration were purchased. The engine was running before the vehicle was taken apart. The car and all parts have been stored indoors in a heated garage since disassembly.

The Series II E-Type's in 1971 were very rare. This vehicle is the seventh to the last Series II E-Type Two Seat Coupe ever built. This is a true two seat coupe with no back seat, so the two seat coupe is the true racing Jaguar.

    It contains the following:
    - 4.2 L I6 with 4 speed manual transmission
    - 53,281 miles - Power Steering
    - Air Conditioning
    - New Bonnet (painted a light blue metallic)
    - New Dark Blue G.W. Bartlett Major Interior Retrim Kit
    - All new Martin Robey replacement sheet metal panels to finish job: Full Left Floor installed, Left Outer sill installed with extra sill supports added, Full Right Floor, L&R Door Skins, L&R rear wheel arch, Sill supports, Other miscellaneous panels.
    - All chrome pieces have been rechromed to show quality
    - Manifolds have been reporcelained with high temp ceramic
    - Carbs fully rebuilt and tuned
    - Body color is silver, though a light blue was planned to match new interior and bonnet.

    Price is $10,350.
