Sellers description:
1971 Jaguar XKE. Coupe, 4 speed with air conditioning. Clear Ohio title. Silver with black interior. This is a one owner car with 43k original miles. Very clean underneath and overall. All original with very minimul rust. Stored inside and off the road the last 30 years. Car was repainted years ago and still looks presentable with only some bubbling at lower edges of doors and rear quarters. Drivers quarter has 2 inch long rust through on lip. Bonnet looks excellent. Floors excellent with no signs of rust or repairs. Currently the car has the engine and transmission removed. The engine is completely torn down as seen. Distributor and carbs missing. Includes many parts, nuts bolts and most parts to restore. 4 speed intact. The rearend was removed for rebuild of brakes and only installed as a roller. Rear trailing arms still hang down. Car rolls free. All lights present and look good. Glass good. Interior is all original. Age cracked leather seats with no rips. Headliner and visors look good. Decent door panels. Warped dashpad. All gauges and wiring in tact. Chrome overall looks presentable. Bumpers have some scratches. Center bar in grill has some pitting. Wire wheels have some surface rust and redline tires are original. Sold to the highest bidder.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
