Ebay item 2/21/21
www.ebay.com/itm/1971-Jaguar-E-Type/164713470021
Car has a buy it now price of $49,495 for 29 days, seller cincinqqff, 78k miles.

Seller's description:
1971 Jaguar XKE 4.2 Litre Roadster That Sold New In Southern California and Is Southern California Solid!! This Jaguar Roadster Is Ready For Refreshing In Time to Enjoy For Some Top Down, Sunshine Fun For the Upcoming Spring and Summer Season!! This Classic British Icon Still Retains It’s Original Blue and Gold California License Plates.

This Classic British Roadster was Previously Owned Long Term Since the Early 1980’s, From a Los Angeles Resident That Worked at McDonnell Douglas In Torrance, California. After Her Passing In 2019, the Estate Sold the XKE After a 35 Year Ownership. Being a Jaguar Enthusiast, a 1996 Jaguar XJ6 She Used as Her Daily Drive was Sold as Well.

The XKE Appears to Have Been Garaged Since New. The Interior Is Presentable. The Wooden Jaguar Steering Wheel Was Replaced at One Time. I Would Personally Locate an Original Jaguar XKE Steering Wheel, and Give Back That “English Accent” a Nice Factory Wooden Steering Wheel Adds to the Classic Interior. The Windshield and Glass Seem to Be Intact, and Without Cracks.

The Front Bonnet Seems to Be Without Previous Accident Damage and Rustfree. The Driver’s and Passenger’s Door Open and Close as They Should, as Does the Trunk Lid. The Black Fabric Soft Top Functions Well and Still Looks to Be Serviceable. The Exterior At Some Point Was Painted an Old English White. Inside of the Trunk Shows It’s Original Color of “Pale Primrose”. Although a New Paint Job is Not a Necessity for Enjoying This Iconic Classic, I Believe a New Paint Job Would Really Make This XKE Roadster Shine and Stand Out From the Crowd.

The 6 Cylinder 4.2 Litre Engine Runs and Has That Iconic Jaguar Exhaust Note. The 4 Wheel Disc Brakes Seem to Be Functioning Properly, But Should Be Inspected Before Any Regular Usage Is Attempted.

If You are Seriously Considering Adding an Iconic Jaguar XKE to Your Stable, Not Seriously Considering This Solid Southern California Example Would Be a Missed Opportunity!! This Iconic Classic British Roadster Would Make a Great Automobile Investment, Weekend Cruiser, or Future Car Show Winner.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
