Engine is from a 1974 jag,, not an e-type. Engine has about 40,000 fewer miles than is shown on cars odometer.

Sellers description:
This is a driver, not a concours car. Body is in very good condition, parts have been repainted, like the hatch, the hood, and the drivers door where minor damage has been repaired. (not all at the same time). Engine is from a 1974 XJ. Not the original '72 E-type engine. Previous owner removed all of the emissions control measures from the engine. Car runs like a top. I have all service records back to 1978 when we bought it. It has been in our garage, never left out in the elements. Wife drove it to work for several years after we bought it, up until about 1992. It's been run periodically since that time. I've replaced the factory radio with a Blaupunct radio and CD player. The original radio is available.
