Current bid US $15,500 reserve not met 20 bids 9 days left in auction. Seller gasmonkeygarage,82k miles.
Sellers description:
A well preserved, original example of the very desirable 1972 Jaguar XKE Series III 2+2 Coupe showing 82,931 miles offered by Gas Monkey Garage! When I found this well preserve example of the iconic Jaguar XKE, owned by a very enthusiastic admirer of the XKE, I knew I had to act quickly to secure it. He was able to enjoy and maintain it as it should have been until he was no longer able to enjoy driving anymore. At that point he focused on maintaining and preserving it in an indoor building and this preserved the floors and tub from the fate of most E-Types (rust) and the result is this extremely well preserved, but not restored XKE Coupe. Please see all pics (especially the spare tire tub!) The doors and hinges are extremely solid and tight. While this 1972 Jaguar XKE runs and drives for loading and unloading, the brakes need attention as they are nearly non-existent, it has been stored for years and wasn't driven for quite some time, therefore it will need to be completely serviced before attempting to drive it to insure safety and reliability (Due to our filming schedule we will not be able to service this XKE (sold as is/where is).The exterior is in good condition with a glossy white finish appearing to have been re-sprayed at some time in the past with minor nicks and scratches and some "crazing "of the paint on the hood as well (see all pics). The chrome bumpers and trim are present and in good condition (see all photos). The interior is also in good condition showing some wear with good, solid carpet (again, see all pics!). The dash is complete and clean. The seats are complete and operational with clean, solid upholstery making for an easy restoration if desired. The engine compartment appears original and unmolested having been maintained throughout the years (again, see all pics).Underside pics reveal a very solid tub and mechanical components that are unmolested with minimal rust present. This rare 1972 Jaguar XKE is located in Dallas Texas.

Note above ebay auction ended at $24,600 after 39 bids.
Auction description:
Lot Nr. 443 V
1972 Jaguar E-Type V12 FHC
FIN: 1S72962, Laufleistung: 82.932 mls (abgelesen), Hubraum: 5.343 ccm/V12, Getriebe: 3-Gang Automatik, Farbe: Weiß/Blau (Leder), Leistung: 261 PS, Papiere: US-Title + Zollpapiere
