Current bid $2,200 reserve not met, 5 bids 9 days left in auction. 48k miles.

    Sellers description:
Early 1971 Jagur E-Type V12 Coupe with solid original floors and no wrecks. Solid and straight original body with California blue license plates. One owner since 1978, a now-retired career motorcycle policeman for the San Francisco PD. This E-Type has been in storage for many years. Our esteemed technician Gino started it and it runs on all 12 cylinders, with nice even compression. We dry-ice blasted the undercarriage to expose all the original metal, still coated with its red-oxide factory primer. The car was originally blue, and it retains it's original paint under the bonnet, indicating no accidents.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
