    Sellers description:
1971 Jaguar V12 E-Type coupe. VIN 1S70645BW, date of manufacture is 2/71, making it the 645th V12E 2+2 coupe built. This car is a two owner vehicle with the second owner caring for it since 1974. It has traveled only 38,582 miles from new. This is the first year for the V-12 and the only year for the higher performance 9:1 engine. The added compression makes for spectacularly smooth and powerful acceleration from just off idle. This car has been garaged and cared for its entire life. The willow green paint looks great on the car and is part of the classic British color palate.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
