Ebay item 6/1/05
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $1,425.00 (Reserve not met), 4 bids, 5 days left in auction. Buy it now price $14,500.

Sellers description:
Runs Good*** It has damage ** This item has many options. This is a 1971 Jaguar XKE V12 rare A/C car with Auto Trans. It has a Rebuildable Salvage title. This type of Salvage title is registerable in all States as long as you follow your states proceedures and guidlines for repairing and inspecting process. The car needs a rt front 3/4 with cooling. I relaced the rt wheel with the spare and put a bolt in place for the upper ball joint so it could be driven around the yard. It will start right up and sounds great, does not smoke. The car is how you see it. I am not perfect, I have tried to be as descriptive as possible.

Car returns to ebay 6/24/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Opening bid $30,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 8 days left in auction. 75k miles. Car now said to be in Comunidad Valenciana, Spain.

Sellers description:
This car has been extensively renovated by Jaguar specialists. No expense has been spared.
Ex-Florida car. Body is solid. New front frames. Updated distributor and ignition system.
Complete car overhauled from front to back replacing all parts but keeping the car as original as possible.
There is too much to list on the work carried out on this car.
This car has been featured in magazines, newspapers and shows. Whilst its not a 10/10 and it was never restored just purely for shows, it was done to be a usable classic car and is definatly a 9/10 example and could easily be a 10/10 with just a bit of time spent on the car but i wanted it to be a usuable car that i could go on classic car rallies with.
Unfourtunatly, divorce has forced the sale of my baby.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
