For sale is this beautiful Series III E-Type V12 2+2 Coupe. This survivor is in great overall condition, and has been in the same family since purchased new in California, and is ready to serve another family for an additional 40+ years. Enjoy the beautiful sound of the V12 commanded by the desirable 4 speed manual transmission, which are all in great working order. The original motor runs great and starts and revs without hesitation. This E-Type has been resprayed several years back in the original Burgundy color, and the front seats have been professionally recovered. The paint is a 7.5 to 8 out of 10, with misc road wear and chips from loving use. Some rubber needs to be replaced. Original owner's handbook, repair books, original brochure and many other original period-documents are included in the sale. The car has always been garaged and covered, and the owner is forced to sell due to moving. She sits in our warehouse waiting for the next owner.

"I have had the pleasure of owning my grandfather's Jaguar XKE for the past year. He had purchased the car new in 1971 and has been in love with it his whole life. I still have pictures of my grandfather, wearing his driving gloves during his Sunday drives. He kept every service record and registration tag, and treated the car like his own child. When he passed in 1995, it was handed down to my aunt. She and my mother enjoyed it for several years, taking trips up the coast and sharing old memories of their father when they were together. Eventually, the car made it into my hands. I enjoyed reliving the memories and hearing the stories and history that came along with it. As much as I love the car and get complimented on it every time I take her out, I am not able to give it the proper care and storage that is deserved. I would love so see the car passed on to someone that has the same passion for Jaguars as my grandfather did."
