Advertised for sale on carsales.com.au 31 January 2025, asking AUD$229,000. The car is in Sydney, Australia. Selling dealer’s description (edited) follows:
This E-type began its life in England as a factory RHD car (1 of only 111 made). It came to Australia in 1977 with its second owner Jaguar Club stalwart, Barry Morris. It has recently had a complete bare metal nut-and-bolt restoration with no expense spared. The aim was to win the 2025 Jaguar concours. Unfortunately Barry passed away before he could see the car completed and shown.
With a restoration cost somewhere in the vicinity of AUD$300k, not including the price of the car, this "as new" 1973 E-Type currently has less then 300 kilometres on the odometer. This is a useable air-conditioned classic presented in flawless Signal Red duco over contrasting tan leather.
