Richard, who was once part of Jaguar agent Attwoods, was contacted by the present Australian owner for details. 1S50016 does not appear on either Roger Payne's 1991 Australian records or our present one here - Roger's last V12 list starting with known history of 1S50018.

Advertised 19 September 2013 on carsales.com.au. Asking AUS$43,500. Private seller located in San Remo, Victoria, Australia. Seller's description: "One of the early factory manual V12 E-types (actually built 1970) in good original condition. Regency red with approx. 121,000 miles on the clock. Lots of history. Factory authenticity certificate".
