Car was at auction 4/11
www.barons-auctions.com/details.php

Auction description:
Lot No: 140
Manufacturer Jaguar Cars
Model E-type S3
First Registered 1973
Registration No JGN75N
Engine No 7S12827SB
Chassis No 1S2144
MOT Tba
Colour Old English White

Finished in Old English White with a French Blue interior JGN 75N was originally sold through dealers Mann Egerton of London. The car is a genuine low-mileage, UK-market right-hand drive, manual example, that is currently only in its third ownership from new.

Sounding superb and driving well on our recent inspection, the bodywork of the car can be considered very good with nice door and bonnet gaps and the paintwork, possibly an older repaint, is in good order overall. All the brightwork and light fittings on the car appear to be original and in good order.

The interior of the car is likewise in lovely condition, with the carpets, headlining and door cards all being very good and commensurate with the low mileage covered from new.

With just 51, 604 miles recorded on the odometer, the car has a large quantity of supporting history. This includes a letter from the previous owner stating the mileage of the car to be genuine and also includes the original handbook and sales literature from 1973. Further, there is also the Operator's Manual and original Service History file in the factory-supplied plastic wallet. An excellent original example, the V12 has recently been brought out of careful garage storage and is expected to have a fresh MOT in time for the sale.

Estimate £30,000-35,000

Lot 163 at Historics Sale of Classic and Sports Cars at Ascot Racecourse on 12 March 2022. Catalogue description below.

www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2022-03-12/cars/ref-150-1974-jaguar-e-type-s ...

This lovely example of a V12 Series III E Type was originally supplied by Mann Egerton in London and registered in 1974 but originally manufactured in August 1973. The car is a low mileage, UK delivered, right hand drive, manual gearbox car which has been owned by our vendor for 11 years and by the previous owner for 19 years before that. The vehicle is presented in its original colours of Old English White with French Blue interior and a new mohair roof.

Purchased in Spring 2011 this car has been continuously garaged by our vendor and had regular specialist mechanical attention for services and maintenance during this period, as detailed in the large history file. Boasting two former keepers, the original owner having confirmed by letter that the mileage at the time was correct, this is an incredible low owners car with confirmed mileage and a supporting history file with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, original handbook, original Jaguar Service Passport, many invoices and previous MoT certificates.
