    Seller description:
    one of the best restored V12 E Types ever offered, this outstanding example underwent a 3 year complete restoration. Every component was taken off the car and then the body was placed on a rotisserie, the monocoque frame was replaced and the body was taken down to bare metal, door skins were replaced along with new floorboards and inner and outer sills. The bonnet was taken apart and painted and reassembled, all openings were weather sealed. The body and bonnet were finished in Primrose Yellow. The engine was completely rebuilt and stainless steel headers and stainless exhaust system were added, the gearbox was changed to a 5 speed Getrag, The rear differential was rebuilt along with bronze IRS bushings, new springs, adjustable billet shock absorbers. All front suspension and steering components were changed, torsion bars were upgraded as well as shock absorbers and steering rack mounts. Aluminium radiator and header tank were also fitted. Updated electronic ignition system has been added, all chromework has been changed. The interior has been completely refurbished along with new windshield, seatbelts, and Kenwood 6 CD changer. This beautiful motorcar was finished in 2005 at a cost of $120,000 only 4,000 miles since restoration. The present owner has owned this motorcar since 1974 and has always been stored in a climate controlled area.
