Current bid $56,100.00
Reserve price not met, 15 bids 4 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This 1972 5.3 Liter, V-12 E Type Series III Jaguar Roadster is one of the finest in the world. With its original deep Sable exterior, original black leather interior and original black convertible top, this E-Type is both a luxurious and stunning ride.

This number-matching Jaguar has never been in an accident and is mechanically like new. The interior and trunk are both immaculate, and the engine compartment is pristine. The total mileage of the car is just over 25,800 miles since new and has been kept in a heated and humidity controlled garage for all of its life. All necessary maintenance has been done to keep this car at its highest level of performance. All services are current and no tuning is necessary for this beauty. The paint on the exterior has no blemishes, is like new, but is still the original paint from when it was built in 1972. The undercarriage has been completely redone with new bushings and rubbers, so in addition to being like new, it still drives like new.

Also included with the stunning condition of both the exterior and interior are several working factory options such as the Craig radio, retractable antenna, working air conditioning, mechanically controlled side mirrors and chromed air cleaners. Additionally, this Jaguar also includes the owner's manual, jack with tool kit for the wire wheels (in the original bag), tonneau cover, matched touch up paints, transporter for the hard top, factory hard top, and the original soft top which is still in excellent condition.

This Jaguar is a joy to drive as it exemplifies the power of a high-performance vehicle, as well as the luxury of an excellently maintained classic car.

Simply stated, this is an opportunity to buy a 1972 that looks, feels and drives like it is brand new. This may be the finest original in the world of its kind.

Actual Mileage unknown.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
