Listed for sale for $49,900 at www.grautogallery.com. Just out of a private collection, it brings us great excitement to offer this 2-owner unrestored low mile 1972 Jaguar XKE roadster to market. The vehicle was sold new at Crandall Hicks Company of Wellesley Massachusetts. This Jaguar was delivered in its white exterior over red leather interior and equipped with Jaguars legendary V12 engine, Lucas-Opus ignition system, 4 speed syncromesh gearbox, power assisted steering, adjustable steering column, limited slip differential, radial ply tires, matching tach, leather faced reclining seats, 4 wheel disc brakes, clock and optional AM/FM radio. Since, the car has transacted once in 1987 to a private collector where it made its way into long term storage. Today, the car remains extremely original with the odometer showing just 25,834 miles. Accompanying and documenting originality of the vehicle itself indicates this mileage to be original. Cosmetically this 1972 Jaguar possesses an outstanding core structure featuring excellent original floors, rockers and sheet metal. The interior remains original and shows wonderful patina and the older paint is fitting the overall original condition of the car, Mechanically, the car is fit and exciting to drive. It features great acceleration, tight suspension and handling and true braking. The 72 E-type is fully documented with original window sticker, original Passport To Service book, original warranty plate, original Maintenance Handbook with portfolio, original specification poster, owner history, documentation of the 1st to 2nd owner transaction etc. The Jaguar E-type is considered by many one of the most beautiful designed automobiles ever. Their design and beauty appeal to all and their performance impresses the most opinionated of drivers. Quality original working examples such as this are near impossible to find in today's collectors market. Original cars are highly sought after. The example offered here contains many options for the next caretaker and is appropriately priced. To see over 80 photos of this car
