I am the second owner of the car, having purchased it in July, 1998. The original owner traded it at the dealer who originally sold the car. He traded it in on a new XK8 as he could no longer work the E-Type's clutch, as he was 84 years old. Car was in rust-free New Mexico for it's entire life until I moved to North Carolina in November, 2001. Parts of the car have been repainted as the first owner drove it quite often and acquired many parking lot scars. Car now has about 91,000 miles, has been maintained at the dealer but never "restored".

Would love to see this car back in New Mexico if you should ever decide to part with it. T. Graham 2R28673

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
