Through Jaguar's storied history, few tales are as exhilarating as that of the competition E Types, the first of these, chassis S860006, delivered to the Coombes Racing Team. This car became the basis of a further 17 competition cars. Showing its importance, that is what our car is a tribute to. The registration number is even appropriate, chassis S850006 is 4WPD and ours is 9WPD.

The car's underpinnings are a UK supplied 1973 Series III. Now of course something completely different. Now with an aluminium bonnet, fitted with extended louvres for enhanced cooling, under the bonnet a monster 6.1 litre V12 4 cam engine, aero features, updated interior for comfort; the immense power from the 6.1 litre engine mated to a 5 speed Getrag gearbox, allowing its considerable power to be delivered with grace and efficiency.

Driving this car, you can feel its power unlike with most road cars.
