Car to be at auction 7/12
www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

Auction description:
Lot 152 - 1972 Jaguar E-Type Series 3 V12

Estimate: £25,000 - £30,000
Registration Number: KHT 566L
Chassis Number: 1S590

Today's remarkable example is original except for the colour which was changed from white to the much more desirable silver during the first few years of the car's life. The present vendor bought the car in 1981 and has used it sparingly and maintained it thoroughly over this period, as the twenty years of expired MOT certificates in the history file attest.

The odometer currently reads 79,000miles, which the vendor believes to be correct, and has a current MOT till October this year. This is one of the last of the iconic E Types, and, having been lovingly looked after for the last 30 years, it represents a great entry to the classic car market.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
