This delightful Jaguar 'E' Type V12 roadster was first supplied to a Mr Rothstein and the present owner purchased the vehicle in 1985 making him the owner of this car for 12 years.
It is painted in Blue and has the Tan interior and it is an original English car with the preferred manual gearbox. The car was completely overhauled in 1989 with the engine being stripped down and the car being repainted. The upholstery was in such good condition at the time it was decided to leave it as it was.
This car is described by the vendor as being in very good condition throughout and these cars are some of the most evocative of the true British sports cars and it is one of those cars that most people have aspired to own at some time. Go on - treat yourself

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
