An original right-hand drive model equipped with the desirable manual transmission, this E-Type V12 roadster was delivered new in the UK in February 1972 to a Mrs Hewitt and comes with its original stamped service booklet, confirming the delivery date new from Henleys and early service history. We are advised that the car has benefited from ongoing refurbishment, some £34,000 having been spent with Southern Classics, and that it comes with an extensive history file containing bills, MoTs, tax discs, and instruction manuals. Noteworthy features include headrests, wire wheels, and a four-branch stainless steel exhaust. The car is offered with a V5C Registration Certificate and MoT to August 2020.

Sold by Vintage and Prestige Classic Cars of Northampton in February 2023. Amended seller's description below.
www.vandp.net/sales/2489/1971-e-type-jaguar-v12-manual-roadster
Built on 24December 1971 and delivered new to a lady on 7 February 1972, since then the car has covered 67,000 miles at the time of writing. For the last few years the car has been owned by a Jaguar Owners Club concours judge which says a lot about the car. It is in impeccable condition and drives as a V12 should.
Under the bonnet the car is very original with all factory stickers in place. The exterior white paint is also in super order with no evident corrosion. The hood had a couple of tears and marks so has been replaced. The car sits on four knock off wire wheels with four excellent tyres. The boot is original and tidy with its factory fitted beige liner.
All in all this is a low miles very original car in super driving order, the only deviation from factory being the fitting of a Mota-Lita wood steering wheel that falls well to hand and has a tactile feel to it. Everything works on the car and it comes freshly serviced, ready for immediate use. The car comes with a Heritage Certificate showing it to be matching numbers, a manual right hand drive in its original colours of white over black.
