Advertised on carsales.com.au about April 2012. Seller's comments as follows: "Early V12 RHD roadster. It is unrestored other than to make it a reliable driver. Recored radiator, modern electronic ignition, SU carbs and rebuilt brakes. The car was delivered as an auto but has been converted to a manual at some point using all Jaguar standard bits ie its a 4 speed Jag gearbox.
Nearly new soft top and it also has the optional fibreglass hardtop in matching colour. Chrome wire wheels in good condition.
Paintwork is pretty ordinary. Maybe 4 different shades of white and some silicon cracks. There is a small dent in the bonnet at the front. I can suply a new chrome radiator opening trim and its an easy repair. Drivers seat is split. I will throw in a new set of leather seat covers and new foams for the squab. The headrests have not colapsed like most e-types of this era. There is also a crack in the front left exhaust manifold. A complete set of 4 replacement manifolds comes with the car.
I have owned it for 7 years and had my mechanic make it reliable. ....... Car was originally UK delivered but I have service records going back 1991 from the prev. owner so it has been in Australia at least since then. I have had it on the hoist and can't see any rust problems. I am happy to aqauint any potential purchasers of the car's foibles and I have owned it long enough to identify them all.
