Asdvertised for sale September 2011 on Carcales .com.au asking $AUS115,000. Advertisement says: "Has been the subject of a full nut and bolt restoration. Genuine RHD,
genuine Manual, not an auto, (comes with
heritage certificate). Drives superbly. 25,600 miles since new. Ongoing maintenance since restoration has seen a new clutch master cylinder, and plumbing including the reservoir bottle replaced. Various other items have been replaced to continue keeping the car in the condition it was when first restored. (All items were NEW OLD STOCK. I do not fit repro items to this car.). This car is kept in excellent condition. Also comes with fitted luggage, hand made for this car. With the prices of Series 3 convertibles climbing on the back of the 50th anniversary celebrations, this not only makes a beautiful car, but a sound investment."

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
