Imported into the United Kingdom from the United States and registered JSA436G in July 2015. Sold by Anthony Godin Sporting Cars and Motorcycles of Mereworth in September 2021. Seller's description below.

JSA436G was dispatched by Jaguar on 22nd May 1969 and supplied to its first owner in New York. It had just two owners in the USA, the second owner, from Massachusetts, retained the car until 2015, whereupon it was purchased by its last owner and repatriated to the UK. A matching numbers manual transmission example it remains in largely original condition showing 22,000 miles. It would benefit from cosmetic improvements but is a sound, solid and usable car.

The history file mentions work carried out to the car prior to its import that included a completely new braking system, new front calipers and discs, new clutch master cylinder, overhauled original Lucas alternater, overhauled radiator, new shock absorbers, petrol tank removed and leak tested, new fuel lines, new SU fuel pump, new original type battery and new stainless steel exhaust system. There are also bills to show some work here in the UK.

This is a fine example that starts on the button, drives well and can be enjoyed immediately with an option to improve during ownership. It is suppled with UK registration documents and some old MoTs.
