Ebay item 4/21/04
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $25,000.00 (Reserve not met), 12 bids, 5 days left in auction. 57k miles on the odo.
Sellers comment:
The car is finished in the Regency Red with black leather, which is the original color combination. The car shows 57332 miles, but cannot be verified. This is an Arizona car, so it has not been exposed to rain, snow or inclement weather. This Jaguar features the 4.2 liter, double overhead cam, 6 cylinder engine, fully synchronized 4 speed manual transmission, full independent rear suspension and 4 wheel, power assisted disc brakes. The chrome wire wheels are shod with era correct Michelin “red line” radial tires.
The car is always admired and frequently the subject of conversation. It has placed well in local British Car Shows.
Vehicle Condition
The car runs and drives well. Mechanically, the engine runs strong, and the performance is impressive. No smoke or oil leaks. The gearbox is tight and dry and the gearchanges are clean and crisp. The clutch functions correctly with good engagement and no slipping. Differential is dry and quiet. The exhaust system is integrally fine with no rust or rattles. Power brakes operation is smooth and effortless. The interior appears to be original, including the carpet. The seats have been covered by custom, charcoal colored sheepskins for most of its life. I just removed them to illustrate the excellent condition of the leather. The paint is in very good condition with the exception of some fine line finish crazing on the doors. All the glass is and window mechanisms are in very good condition, as well as the instruments, and the sound system.
