Current bid $15,000, reserve not met, 1 bid, 6 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar XKE type II 4.2 liter inline 6 cylinder. With a beautiful British Racing Green finish and soft tan interior. Bought in 1996 as a dream car I have enjoyed it for this car for the last 11 years. Looking for a different vehicle and my wife told me I needed to sell this one first. This car is perfect for cruising around and a real eye catcher. This car has been garage kept and not seen rain in at least 11 years. I have recently put on new pirelli tires and tubes. The Jag has been restored. Also have luggage rack and complete restoration and mechanical manuals.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
