Offered here is a beautifully presented Series II example that was restored by Muncie Imports and Classics in 1993 to the highest of standards. The no-expense-spared restoration included a full engine rebuild on which approximately 2,000 miles have been applied over the last decade. Currently, the odometer shows the original mileage to be approximately 70,800 which the owner attests to as correct. This Series II Jaguar is fitted with many of the correct original components and attesting to its excellent overall condition it has received numerous accolades and awards at events. Most impressively though, was its performance in JCNA National judging where it received 99.52667 in 2001 and then a 99.80667 in 2001... almost 10 years since the restoration’s completion.

The current owner and British car enthusiast relates that extensive documentation on the restoration of the car, including photos, will be available at the time of the auction as well as all maintenance records since he assumed ownership. Overall, the car is in excellent condition with all brightwork, paint, interior, engine and bay showing to concours standards. This very desirable Series II example represents excellent value for the money given the owner’s substantial investment and commitment to this lovely British touring car.
