    1969 Jaguar E-type

    2 owner vehicle!

Here we have a very rare find in the world of Jaguar E-Types. A two-owner, low mileage vehicle with an incredible amount of documentation.

As a Jaguar specialist, Black Horse Garage could not pass up the opportunity to acquire a vehicle with such well documented history. The 2nd owner had been in possession of this vehicle since 1971. The second owner filed every single service receipt since day one of ownership. This vehicle has also been thoroughly inspected and serviced during its time at Black Horse Garage and is a great looking and driving vehicle.

This wonderful Jag is in great condition but is not perfect. Upon closer inspection you will find the repainted exterior in need of attention. The interior is in very good condition with a few areas requiring reconditioning.

This timeless vehicle is ready to drive today and represents a great opportunity to purchase a two-owner, low mileage XKE.

    Make: Jaguar

    Model: XKE Convertible

    VIN: 1R8837

    Engine: 4.2 liter I-6

    Sellers description:
This E-type is a numbers matching, original color combination in robin egg blue paint and dark navy interior with a black boot. It's a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certified vehicle and has extensive service records, corresponding letters with the Jaguar company, parts replacement receipt and ownership history. This documentation dates back to its original conception. Technically this is a three owner car but the first two owners were close family member. The Taylor family owned it from 1969 to 2010 which is when we heard about it through one of the biggest Jaguar collectors in the US. He thought it was a unique find but is more focuses on pre-war Jag's and suggested it might be a good fit for one of our Black Horse customers. After flying out to FL and confirming it's originality, we immediately purchased the car and had it shipped north to the shop. We sold the car to the current owner who has kept it on the road and taken proper care of it. Since then the car has been consistently driven in the summer seasons and stored in a climate controlled garage in the winter. Each spring the owner would prepare the car for the driving season and after the season was over, he would have the car serviced for winter storage. So, long story short it's an incredible driver, one that I would recommend using to compare how a SII Jaguar should feel.

For the purest and enthusiast alike this vehicle would be a hard to duplicate. Whether you looking at the ever-flex top with original stitching, the high gloss of the original interior including carpets, dash consoled etc. The only piece that has been tampered with is the center armrest which was recover. At Black Horse Garage we pride ourselves on being able to offer you the finest collector cars, and with this 1969 Jaguar E-Type we may have out did ourselves.
