For sale at Manor Classic Cars of York for £86,990. Seller's description below.
www.manorclassiccars.com/vehicles-for-sale/1969-jaguar-e-type-series-ii-roadster ...

Needing no introduction our matching numbers Series II Roadster is a charming car with an honest feel. Restored some time ago, it is offered in a condition which tells a story and is very pleasing indeed. Furthermore it is sold with the valuable registration 72VY as viewed.

Imported from Florida in 1997, our car was then subjected to a thorough restoration and conversion to right hand drive which was completed in 2005. It was during restoration that the lovely Signal Red was chosen, though the whole car was stripped and repainted again just three years ago. At this time the car was also professionally re-trimmed in Black to a high standard, and a brand new windscreen fitted.

Our car benefits from brand new MWS chrome wire wheels and Pirelli Cinturato tyres, EBC ventilated disc brakes and pads, hi-torque starter motor, uprated distributor, battery isolator switch and is in very good mechanical order with MoT's to record the mileage from just 85,500 when imported in 1997 to 98,500 miles today.

The Series II is in our opinion too often overlooked but at this price level we believe this offers genuine value for money versus an equivalent S1 or S3 roadster.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
