1970 Jaguar XKE Series 2 Coupe
Body is in excellent condition and has been finished in dark metallic gray with a custom red vinyl interior. The interior is also in excellent condition with folded seams on all surfaces pleated headliner can be viewed in the photographs.
Brand new "Retro Air" Air Conditioning Compressor just fitted, the Air is ice cold and works very well. The original York unit draws 14 HP from the Engine the RA system about 2 HP.
All Glass and Chrome is in excellent condition.
Engine and Transmisson are strong 4 speed gearbox is smooth and operates without issues.
Custom K&N Air Filters are fitted as is a performance straight through exhaust.
Power Steering works flawlessly.
This XKE is a very presentable driver at an affordable reserve, there is a couple of small paint chips I have touched up with matched paint and absolutly no rust I can find, the body is very straight.

This charming left-hand drive Series 2 E-Type left the factory with arguably the best combination of a 4.2-litre engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox in April 1970. Destined for the United States, the history file shows registration documents for a Mr Mark Davies of Pearland, Texas. The car was repatriated to the UK on 1st November 2015 according to the accompanying V5C. Presented with a history file with the aforementioned Texan Title documents, maintenance and parts receipts and an advisory-free MOT valid until the 25th September 2025.
