Owner: Ian Inglis

After owning 13 Triumphs over 25 years I felt it was time for a change. Having a young daughter a 2+2 was the only sensible choice for me and I'm very pleased with it so far.

This car has now been fitted with an Overdrive Gearbox from an S-Type Jaguar. This retains exactly the same 1st - 4th ratios as the original box and keeps the entire drivetrain Jaguar.

The car also now benefits from having a Mangoletsi cable throttle conversion fitted, this makes the driving experience much more responsive.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
