E-Type 4.2 2+2 manual in British Racing Green. Matching numbers, original RHD.Maintained under ownership by Jaguar specialist. All electrics work as they should. Original E-type steering wheel, not a replica. Work done: Sills replaced, new carpets, new tyres, starter motor replaced, brake servo replaced, completed overhaul of front brakes, rear suspension unit removed and overhauled as necessary, including overhaul of rear brake calipers, engine and gearbox mounts replaced. Recently serviced. Starts, drives and stops well. Previous owner had car resprayed. Recently completed tour to Le Mans 24 hour, where car took part in Jaguar anniversary parade celebrating C-Type win at Le Mans in 1953.

We are informed by the owner and vendor, who is one of our local clients, that he purchased this Jaguar series II 'E' Type 2+2 with the 4200cc engine from the 'E' Type Centre in 1997 and that the car had been previously acquired by a Mr Dunne in 1989 from KW (Engineering) in Warrington at a price of ú14,000.
The car is finished in British Racing Green with light tan/biscuit interior trim and upholstery which we are informed does need a little cosmetic surgery. It comes with the 4235cc six cylinder engine coupled to the four speed manual gearbox and the mileage of 96,000 is believed to be correct although recently the speedometer has not been working. An MOT certificate is current until 29 October 1999 and with little restoration this car will bring much pleasure to the new owner.
