1970 Jaguar E-Type Series II Coupe in Primrose Yellow with black hides. This car is superb in every way! The previous owner spent in excess of $45,000 on this car. Engine/transmission, rear end & brakes were all overhauled. Fresh paint, perfect chrome and interior. This has to be one of the nicest Series II Coupes around. Spare, tool kit & hammer are present. This car is a find. Inspections encouraged. Sales tax and lic fees due if delivered in California.

I bought this car and had it shipped to Colorado. It was in great, though not "mint" condition as some of the above posts would lead you to believe. Having said that, this XKE did have $45,000 spent on it ( I have the receipts) and it is a superb example.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
