As seen advertised on the JCNA website:
For Sale: 1969 Series II, numbers matching Jaguar E-Type 4.2 FHC, pale primrose with 88,325 original miles as of January 25, 2013. The Car number is 1R26476, the Engine number is 7R5479-9, the Body number is 4R21728 and the Gear Box number is KE 6281. The original owner purchased the car on May 13, 1970 at North Country Motors, Ltd. in Great Neck, NY. He moved to San Antonio, TX shortly thereafter and the 15,000 mile service was completed by Motor Imports in San Antonio on December 2, 1971. My father purchased the car in San Antonio in 1978 and kept it there, always garaged, until April, 1998, when I purchased the car from my father and brought it to Alpharetta, GA, where it has been always garaged. This car has been in my family for 35 years and has been protected and well cared for in a mild climate that entire time. I do not drive the car in wet conditions and I'm not aware of any significant rust.
The car is basically original with 2 exceptions, an aftermarket exhaust system and an aftermarket air conditioning system. The wheels are the optional "turbo disk" models and the tail lights are the European version rather than American spec. The car runs and drives very well and does not overheat, even in hot Georgia summers. The body and chrome trim are in very good condition and the interior is also very good and original. My father had installed bumper strips on the sides of the car and racing mirrors on the fenders. I had these removed, the holes filled with lead and primer applied.
This car is an excellent daily driver and would be a great candidate for more extensive restoration if desired. A perfect car for someone who likes to do their own work. With very little effort and money this E-Type could be beautiful again and give someone years more of driving enjoyment.

I bought this car February 7 2013.
It will soon be transported to Europe, where to be brought back to her former shining beauty.
Additional info and pics will be placed on this site. Thank you. Best, Marco
