Ebay item 7/20/05
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Opening bid $6,950.00 (Reserve not met), no bids yet, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
THIS JAG COUPE HAS FACTORY AIR AND TINTED GLASS. THE A/C WORKED UNTIL A LINE BROKE. THE ORIGINAL ENGINE HAS BEEN RECENTLY FRESHEN WITH A COMPLETE CYLINDER HEAD REBUILD AND NEW LOWER END BEARINGS. GOOD OIL PRESSURE. COMPRESSION IS: 155, 160, 155, 155, 155 and 157. RECENT CLUTCH. NEW COOLING FAN. THE TRANSMISSION WAS ALSO REBUILT BUT THE 3RD AND 4TH GEAR DETENT BALLS AND SPRINGS WERE NOT REPLACED. NEW ONES ARE INCLUDED WITH THE CAR AND NEED TO BE INSTALLED AS THOSE GEARS WILL SLIDE BACK INTO NEUTRAL. THE GEARBOX IS QUIET AND ALL GEARS APPEAR GOOD. THE EXHAUST SYSTEM HAS RECENTLY BEEN REPLACED. WE BELIEVE THE 78,422 MILES TO BE CORRECT BUT ACTUAL MILEAGE IS UNKNOWN. THE CAR HAS SOME RUST BUBBLES ON THE LEFT FRONT FENDER, LEFT REAR FENDER AND SOME ABOVE THE WHEEL ARCH ON THE RIGHT REAR FENDER. THE FORWARD FLOOR PANS SHOULD BE REPLACED. THE REAR PANS AND STRUT ATTACHMENT POINTS ARE GOOD. THIS LOOKS TO BE THE ONLY RUST AND NONE OF IT THAT WE HAVE FOUND IS STRUCTUAL. THE REAR LOWER SEAMS ARE IN PLACE AND ARE GOOD. THE BONNETT DOES NOT APPEAR TO EVER HAVE BEEN DAMAGED. THIS JAG DRIVES VERY GOOD.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
