Oakmere are delighted to offer this exceptional 1969 E Type 4.2 litre Coupe for sale from our Cheshire showroom. The subject of an extensive nut and bolt, mechanical and interior restoration, this is surely one of the best 4.2 litre Coupes on the market. Supplied by British Leyland New York in January 1969 to William Happ of Los Altos, California who owned the car until 2017, a total of 48 years! Imported into the UK in 2018 and on arrival converted to RHD. A matching numbers car, it features the legendary Jaguar 4.2 litre straight six and 4 speed manual transmission, this is the best example of an E Type that we have driven with silky smooth engine and excellent brakes. Finished in its original colour combination of Regency Red with a Beige interior, it has uprated Spax shock absorbers front and rear, and alloy radiator with electric fan. Supplied with all wheel tools and spare wheel, original service book, wallet and boot pack, and Jaguar Heritage certificate. It has a stainless steel exhaust and the personal number RNC950 is included.
