For sale on eBay ending 21 March 2012. Seller's description as follows: "Here is a 1969 Jaguar in rough condition. Lots of primer and rust. The rust is the floorpan. This is an estate sale of a vehicle that never was completed on restoration. The igniton is missing along with the speedometer . All the parts seem to be there as far as trim . The engine is complete but I do not know anything about it or the transmission. Priced for a quick sale. The shipping is local pickup only . I know nothing about Jags, so thisis a (As is , Where is ) sale. The car is located about 60 miles north of Houston , Tx. and stored inside."

Car returns to ebay 9/26/12
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/69-Jaguar-XKE-resteration-/320990241975
Car has a buy it now price of $7,500 for 4 days. Car now said to be in Livingston, Texas.
Sellers description:
I bought this car to restore, but I found a 66 mustang that I,m going to redo instead, sence I already have two 66 XKE,s. The bodywork had already been started when I got it, But NOT finnished There are some fiberglass patches in the footwell pans, but they look OK. The floor under the seats look good The spare tire well looks good. The rust seen in the pictures is just surface rust.Doors and rockers have been worked, but I cant tell how much. The bonnet (hood) looks very good. I dont think it has ever been in an accident. The engine turns over freely ( no werd sounds) It has AC. I,m 99% sure it works. It still had pressure and the clutch is not frozen so it should work. The jack and hammer and ignition switch are missing. I removed the engine and interrior three weeks ago to start restoration, but things have changed It needs pretty much everything but its very doable I was going to put the three carb system on it using stromberg carbs instead of the very high dollar SU HD8,s I think it will work with a few modifications. (Your call, the tripple or original).

Car returns to auction 3/23
angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic-auctions/2575-01-Apr-2023/1139~1-1968-jaguar-e-type-42-fhc-series-ii
Auction description:
Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd April 2023
1968 JAGUAR E-TYPE 4.2 FHC SERIES II
Estimate: £25,000 - £30,000
V5 present
MoT exempt
Chassis number: 1R25088
Built in August 1968, this Jaguar E-type Series II fixed-head coupe was sent to the USA and sold there in October 1968, according to its Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Record Trace Certificate. It was reimported back to the UK and restoration begun in 2012. However, personal circumstances now prevent the completion of the restoration by the vendor.
The ‘matching numbers’ car has been converted to right-hand drive and extensive body work carried out, with the vendor saying that the car is now completely rust-free. The new metal includes the floor pan, sills (outer, inner and internal strengtheners), footwell boxes, lower front bulkhead, boot floor, door skins and bonnet valance panel. The bonnet is rust-free and straight. Engine, gearbox and rear axle have all been professionally rebuilt, and the radiator has also been rebuilt too. New parts include the engine frames, brakes, wiring loom, stainless steel exhaust, fuel tank, all suspension bushes, springs and dampers, right-hand drive dash panels, and right-hand drive steering rack. There's also a new brake master cylinder and servo, plus the carburettors have been rebuilt and the tachometer and speedometer refurbished and recalibrated for 3.31 CWP. All the tyres (185 70/15) are new. There are many parts to complete, including two unused, brand-new complete tan seat kits.
The restoration to MoT standard was completed in 2017 and a UK registration issued, with a period UK numberplate allocated (ANK 440G). All taxes and duties have been paid; the Jaguar is now tax and MoT-exempt. While the Jaguar has been dry barn-stored over the 15 months, it has been run periodically during that time, we're told that the engine runs with good oil pressure, and the brakes and clutch are free, but the vehicle could do with some recommissioning.
Documentation with the Jaguar includes the V5C, Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Certificate (Heritage Certificate), a stack of invoices and photographs relating to the restoration, UK registration and numberplate authorisation, and some technical paperwork.
