The original factory colour is given on the first registration document as "Grey". looking up the standard factory colours for a 1070 E-type, I am assuming the colour was Warwick Grey. Colour was changed to dark blue during a 1987/88 restoration.
WOT 305H registration was applied on Sept 26 1975.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
