Ebay item 9/18/13
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-Standard-Original-Unmolested-Jaguar-Etype-Roadste ...
Current bid $12,100, reserve not met, 6 bids 6 days left in auction. Buy it now price $23,000. 47k miles.

Sellers description:
1970 Jaguar Etype Roadster...Very original and unmolested...this car comes from the original owner that bought the car at Anderson Foreign Motors in Woburn Mass in July of 1970...I have the original receipt for payment in the amount of $4278...I also have the original overseas order sheet showing the customers preference of color and interior...The car came with dark blue paint with a dark blue interior, black convertible top...

The car is in very solid condition...the front floor sections will obviously need to be replaced but the rest of the car is very good...rocker panels are in great shape as is the trunk/boot floor...the car has never been in any kind of accident and there is no bondo or plastic filler of any kind on the body....the original paint is still on the car ...very worn to the point that the original red primer is showing through in spots...the car is complete except for the clock and the radio console

it is a fully matching number car ..the head matches the block and the block matches the ID tag....also the vin number is stamped on the frame and this matches the tag also

Mechanically, the car has not been on the road in some years....the engine turns and is not locked...I was told that the car was running when put away many years ago ..it is an excellent candidate for restoration and would not take a lot to get the car into useable condition... all the glass is fine... chrome is dirty but would clean up to a driver level fine.... wheels are very nice.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
