Sold by Andrew Walker Cars of Templecombe in August 2022. Listed on eBayUK, amended seller's description below.
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284919096648

1970 E Type Series 2 Roadster LHD. Possibly the worst E Type Roadster in the world. Needs total restoration.

Good points: Two owners from new, the second since 1973. 100% complete. All original paint, BRG, with no previous accident damage! Matching numbers with Heritage Certificate. US title, all import duties paid with NOVA letter. Most of the chrome is excellent.

Bad points: The back and front ends aren't too bad, but the middle section is very poor, and has not been improved by a heavy handed fork lift. The owner holed a piston many years ago, removed the cylinder head, then abandoned the car in his garden, the head is behind the seats. Generally in appalling condition but worth saving.

I will include in the sale four good wheels and tyres, a good windscreen, good inlet manifold with cowls, a pair of straight front bumpers. It is probably worth more by breaking it for parts and ID, but that would be a terrible waste of a good E Type. Simple to convert to RHD during restoration.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
