From Daniel Schmitt
The incredible 1970 Jaguar E-Type Series II 4.2 Roadster featured here is finished in the stunning, factory correct color combination of black over an impeccably kept Cinnamon leather interior over a matching black folding convertible top. According the accompanying Jaguar Heritage Certificate this particular example was completed in February 1970 and was subsequently dispatched through British Leyland in New York. The Jaguar has been in the care of single family ownership dating back to 1972 and the car is still accompanied by a Connecticut title from the same period! The numbers matching 4.2 Litre engine is still in place and has been tastefully upgraded to European specifications with Triple SU Carburation, resulting in an estimated 265hp! Today this desirable Series II Jaguar E-type performs wonderfully all the while a mere 65,267 miles are present on the odometer!
