This 1970 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster is said to have been refurbished under previous ownership and was acquired by the selling dealer in April 2022 from the estate of the prior owner. Finished in black over tan leather, the car is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a beige soft top, chrome bumpers and trim, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ wheels, a wood-rim Nardi steering wheel, Smiths instrumentation, and a push-button AM/FM stereo. This XKE is now offered with a clean Florida title.
The body is finished in black and was reportedly repainted as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. Equipment includes a beige soft top with a matching top boot and dual exhaust outlets as well as chrome trim and bumpers with overriders.
Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels are mounted with 205/70 Pirelli P4000 tires. Stopping power is provided by servo-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in tan leather with matching door panels along with a contrasting black dashboard fitted with wood veneer trim. Interior amenities include a heater, a push-button AM/FM stereo, a wooden shift knob, and a lockable glove box. The seat-reclining mechanisms do not work, and a water stain is noted on the soft top’s headliner.
A wood-rim Nardi steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer, while a clock and gauges for battery voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are housed in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles, approximately 200 of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
The 4.2-liter inline-six features dual overhead camshafts and is fitted with triple SU carburetors.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.
A blank chassis plate was fitted under previous ownership, and the car is titled using the identification number 1R12434.
