Current bid $1,970 reserve not met, 1 bid 9 days left in auction. Buy it now price $26,500. 48k miles.

Sellers description:
This 1970 XKE roadster in British Racing Green is fully matching number car. I don't believe the engine has ever been out of the car. A lot of the orginal hose clamps are still intact. The previous owner got a set of NOS Dunlop Sport Tires for the car and you can see them in the pictures. They are brand new. They are not dry rotted or cracked. He had a well known local restoration shop put new floors and sills on the car. They did a superb job on installing them. All the gaps are in perfect condition. The owner took ill and never finished the car off. As you can see misc. parts were taken off with the intention of having the car painted. I have them in boxes and will pack them in the car. This is a good time to have it painted to your color choice or the original British Racing Green. There is no bondo in the body of this car. The engine turns freely, but it will need all the fluids changed out, do it sitting for while. This is an excellent car for restoration. As you can see, there is no air conditioning in the car, which keeps it very clean looking. This car is being sold for restoration. It steer and it rolls, the hand brake works fine so it can be shipped easily.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
