We have replaced most all the moving parts with genuine replacement parts from Welsh. The engine is rebuilt as of six months ago with about 1000 miles; rebuilt the steering rack a year ago;re did the interior; new ss wheels and redline tires; rebuilt rear end; new bushings and shocks in front end; new clutch , slave cylnder, rotors , pads ; etc; mechanically as good as it gets....body was restored almost 4 years ago and could use a another trip to the body shop; but is honest.

This example of Jaguar's iconic XKE/E Type dates from 1970, by which time the model had advanced to 4.2 Litre power and had revised Series 2 body-styling with modified open headlights with fairings no longer in place, while enlarged side and rear lights were adopted to comply with U.S. safety legislation and a deeper front bumper section also differentiated the car from its predecessors.

An original U.S. Spec car with manual transmission, the Jaguar has been the subject of much work in recent years, including new Old English White paint at which time new hood, door and trunk lid seals were fitted. On the mechanical side, a stainless steel exhaust has been fitted, as well as new ball joints, electronic ignition, new engine mounts and gaskets, a new gear reduction starter, clutch and a new aluminum radiator. In addition in previous ownership a triple Weber carburetor conversion was added.

All of this makes for a usable E Type in fresh and very presentable order.
