    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-JAGUAR-XKE-2-2-SERIES-1-5-COUPE-PROJECT-/1406867868 ...
Current bid $1,691 reserve not met, 12 bids 6 days left in auction. Car said to be in southern New England.

    Sellers description:
THIS CAR HAS BEEN OFF THE ROAD FOR DECADES . LAST REGISTERED IN THE 70'S , RECENTLY REMOVED FROM DRY STORAGE . DOES NOT RUN BUT ENGINE TURNS FREE . THERE WAS SOME LIGHT DAMAGE TO THE NOSE , SOME OF THE DUCTWORK INSIDE WAS REMOVED BUT IS PRESENT. THE CAR HAS SOME TYPICAL RUST. JAGUAR ARCHIVES COULD NOT VERIFY THAT IT IS MATCHING NUMBERS SO ASSUME IT'S A MONGREL. APPEARS TO BE MOSTLY COMPLETE, THE FRONT BUMPERS ARE PRESENT, NO RADIO CONSOLE TOOL KIT OR JACK. THIS IS A PROJECT CAR OR FOR PARTS AND IS INOPERABLE . BECAUSE OF THE SIGNIFICANT AGE AND CONDITION OF THIS CAR IT IS BEING SOLD STRICTLY ON AN AS IS BASIS WITH CLEAR TITLE.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
