Beautiful 1968 XKE 2+2. I am the third owner I'm aware of. The second owner had many of the mechanical and engine parts rebuilt to great working condition in 2009. It starts right up and runs great. I bought this as a gift for a family member who did not take to it, so, it spent most of the time in a garage and also in service where I rebuilt the rack and pinion, installed a wonderful CD/Radio/audio system with Sirius, a new Optima Spiral gel battery, new handles and locks, and $5000 worth of other enhancements and cosmetic corrections.

Mechanically the car seems great. Please come with a mechanic to inspect it and verify my comments.
Cosmetically the car looks great but is not perfect. Pls look at the pictures and also come and see it. I was told the paint job is not the best, some of the chrome needs to be polished or rechromed and some strips need to be reattached or replaced. The interior is ok but some dashboard parts should be re-vinyled. I'm not going to put anymore money into the car so you will have to do it!

This car had factory installed air conditioning, gauges work, it has a 2011 NJ inspection which passed and the sticker is on.

This is a beautiful Jaguar. I use this car a few times a week to commute to my work and it always starts right up and runs well. I drive it in all seasons and in both night and day. It's really nice and always attracts a lot of attention. This car has all the wonderful features for a layman enthusiast such as automatic transmission for easy driving. Another amazing option is that it has a non-working air conditioning which should be repairable by it's next loving owner.

It's hard to list all the improvements and updates done on this vehicle so it will be the buyer's responsibility to come see it and understand it.

The Jaguar isn't my passion so I want to move on. Here's your chance to own a piece of history. A jaguar E-type is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, don't you need to add one to yours?

I have spent a lot of money and time on cosmetic restoration of the vehicle as well as mechanical. It has some imperfections but generally looks and runs great.
